Ballgown dress - Blue Dreams

Ballgown dress
Blue Dreams

I Signed up for MAS (Mini Album Scraps) Ballgown dress form swap and this is what I made we have to make 6 we keep one and we send out 5 this was super fun because I just love dress forms and I've never made a ballgown one before and I'm so happy with the way it turned out I used DCWV tattered time paper stack for the top of the dress and then I used a piece of K&Company (the best of Brenda Walton) paper stack for the inside of the dress for the bottom of the dress I used a  piece of DCWV chalkboard light blue card stock I then covered it with light blue tulle and added some black tulle to the back I then out some blue-gray lace around the top and then glued the top of the dress to the bottom and added a flower. I just love the way this turned out! now I have to make the packaging and get it all boxed up and shipped off I hope everyone will like my Ballgown!

I forgot to show you the packaging I came up with! So here it is!

Card - Dreams Come True

This is a card I made I haven't made a lot of them but I've got a lot to do today and still wanted to make something to post :) I made it out of some scraps I had and had the stamped image from a swap awhile back and colored it with my touch markers there a lot like Copic onlyI think they blend better I got them from Amazon.de I distressed all the edges with blue jeans (my fav) and put a peace of lace trim on the side to dress it up a bit! not sure who I will be giving this card to but one of my goals this year is to send out cards to my friends and family so its time to use up my scraps and leftovers!
Hope you have a scrappy weekend and thanks for stopping by!

Scrappy Tag

This is a tag I made I decided to use up some of my scraps I've been reading a lot of blogs that have been talking about how to clean up http://ecoscrapbook.blogspot.de/ had a blog hop on I believe the 22 for earth day so I've been taking some of the things I have learned and putting them to good use. I now have 2 paper bags one for plastic and one for paper trash and I have gone throw and found all my scraps that can still be used and decided to make a bunch of tags with them and keep them in a box so i can pick throw them when ever I have a album that needs a tag :) and I've been working on the computer to make labels I'm going to be covering shoe boxes and then labeling them with buttons, flowers, stickers, chipboard peaces and such. so thank you EcoScrapbook for hosting the blog hop and helping me become more Eco friendly! I'm now following your blog! I'm now off to scrap with my scraps!!!! Happy scraping and thanks for stopping by!!!!

Paper Box With Kiara

Well I hope everyone is haven a great weekend! Today I made a box with my 4 year old daughter Kiara. yesterday I went to the craft shop on post and got Paper boxes by k&Company I thought it would be the perfect project for us! Kiara picked out all the embellishments ( everything had to be blue lol)she then helped me take the pix for this post (so helpful) If you have little ones I recommend this project it is fun and simple and easy to do she distress all the edges with Martha Stewart forget-me-not small ink pad and I helped her with the Glue and placement of things she curled up the banner to give a more 3d effect and she got to put on the 3d dots to make it stand out. we had a blast making this box.

I decided to add on to this post I made another box :) and this are the pix of it.
I
This is the same paper line but it is the second pack.

Spooky Album

Well I've worked all yesterday and today on a spooky album! I had a blast making it I only wish I didn't have to what on my printer ink to come in the mail lol but I'm making the albums any way and it just started raining so I lost my sun so I'm sorry if the pix are a little dark I was trying not to get a glare. I got all the inspiration on construction this album from Kathy over at  http://www.paperphenomenon.blogspot.de/  she has beautiful  tutorials and Kits you can even sign up to watch all of her u-stream classes and she is such a great teacher! This was the First time I had made a "Binder" for my books but I like the way it looks! I even added a banner in there lol ok well here are the pix I took of the album:)

There is so much room for Pix in this album!!! I love all the photo mats I put in the pockets!
the paper lines I used are
I also used some of the Alice in wonderland punch-outs and some Tim Holtz embellishments and embellishments from the October 2011 MemoryWorks Express Kit. If your interested in this paper lines or the express kits you can find them @

MW April Banner Challenge

I'm a member over at Memory works studio and Caroline has a  challenge  and the  challenge  was to create a project using a banner and you could use a banner that is already made or you could make your own so I decided to make my own I've never used a banner before in any of my projects but I got a lot of inspiration during there blog hop! So this is the project that I came up with. It is a mini album in a Box that I altered I used Bobunny's serenity paper line and note worthy you can get this paper and more at my website  http://tiffanyfariss.memory-works.com/ The them of the paper matched up great with the pictures I had from when I was stationed in Korea.

I had a lot of fun making this and the banners were fun too I think that I will use more banners in my projects! I'm so excited to say that I won the challenge! It was my first and a lot of fun thank you Memory works studio and Caroline for this challenge and for posting it on http://www.memoryworksblog.blogspot.de/ !

Memory Works Blog Hop ...Loved it!!!

I've been checking out all the supper cute and beautiful projects the memory works team made for there blog hop! Every one did such a beautiful job so inspiring! I had a blast! if any one is interested then you will start http://memoryworksblog.blogspot.de/ at the memory works blog this was the first blog hop I have done and I've seen so many beautiful cards and layouts and the paper is just beautiful! Now time to work on my mini again!

Vacation Mini Album

This is a mini album I have been working on I used BoBunny Country Garden Paper the link to order this paper collection is under my links on the right hand side of my blog this mini is no where near finished but I will be working on it all week long and will post my progress and once I'm done I will post a clip! I just love this paper I Love paper in general but I really loved the Butterfly's over the newsprint and the colors I'm usually not in to yellows but I love it in this paper!
I Binded the book with my Bind-it-all and then punched the left side border with my Martha Stewart border punch I distressed everything along with getting the paper I also got the note worthy which is a bunch of cutouts that match the paper line I made all the flowers and put the butterfly's over the butterflies to give a 3d effect I titled this album Live 2012 because I'm going to put my family's vacation pix in it!
As you can see its just a shell but I have started to embellish it a bit I have made a few pockets and Tads and fold outs you'll be able to see this better when I'm done and post the clip! I did bind it on both sides it started as a gate fold but then I didn't want the cover to be split so I'm not sure what you could call this lol I did use a few of my scraps to make the tags but I don't remember what paper line they are from.
This is another page I've been working on I used a dress form....I love making them..... then more pockets and tags! Well that is about all I have done with this mini so far so ck back later this week to see what I've added to it! thanks for checking out my blog!

Coupon book

This is a clip that I made about my Coupon book.

I had so much fun making this book mini and even more fun using it and saving money!!!

Paper Dress

So last week I was a little board and started searching for a different kind of paper craft to do and I came across Kellie Reynolds BLOG @  http://www.kellbellestudio.blogspot.de/  and she has made the most beautiful Paper dresses she also has how-to clips and Templates. So I decided to make a few and this is what I came up with. oh and then I needed some place to hang them so I altered part of my old gypsy box ( it was perfect because it had built in shelf lol) then I put 2 wooden sticks to make the closet hanger and I covered it with patterned paper I'm still working on it but I think I will be making paper dresses for a while and my daughter just loves to help pick out the paper and lace :) the bottom of the closet i am going to make a place to make some paper umbrellas and shoes  lol its going to look so cute sitting on the shelf in my living room!
I had so much fun making these! Thank you Kellie you are a great teacher in your clips and a big inspiration!
